TECHNIQUE OF SAHAJA YOGA IS LOVE


 “The technique of Sahaja yoga is not like this (previous style of guru) it’s not anger, it’s not repulsion, it’s not hatred.  But the technique is such by which you suggest your love.  This is how one has to understand the difference between a Sahaja Yogi guru and other gurus.  No question of beating your disciple, no question of spoiling or shouting at them.  Love is the most powerful thing….  So what a sahaja yogi has to do is to understand the power of love.  If you can understand it will grow within you.  Some people have, some people don’t have.  Try to understand the Paramchaitanya is nothing but it is (the) power of God’s love – or you can say ‘Mother’s love’!  This power works so beautifully, in such a secret manner, that you call it as ‘miracle’ because you can’t see how it has worked.  So first and foremost thing is to try and develop the sense of love within you.  Understand.   There is a problem which is always misunderstood.  Pure love can be very easily understood, that it gives you joy, that it helps others to improve, it works in a very subtle manner…"

Earlier Time slot in May at Ajax Library McLean Branch

We are very happy to announce that Sahaja Yoga Meditation has been invited to host the May 2016,  meditation class sessions of the New Chapter Café at the Ajax Library McLean Branch, 95 Magill Dr. Ajax, each Tuesday afternoon 1:30-2:30pm  with the exception of Tuesday, May 24th due to previous bookings of this room.

Sessions are open to all and free of charge.  Learn to meditate!  

This is a simple method that anyone can do at home.  There will be an introduction and then all will be gently guided within their own being to discover the inner peace, joy and silence that all human beings were born with.  It’s all there inside.  Avail yourself of the valuable self knowledge provided through experienced Sahaja yoga meditators.
You won’t need to bring anything.  We will sit in chairs, enjoy a brief introduction, be guided through two meditations, and view a short video. No registration required.
Ongoing sessions continue at the Pickering High School on Monday evenings 7:00-8:00pm (180 Church St. N Ajax, Room 149 just to the right of the main front entrance).

Class Cancellation on Easter Monday at Pickering High School

Please remember that due to the school closure on Easter Monday, March 28th, 2016 the Sahaja Yoga class at the Pickering High School is cancelled that evening.
Hope you can join us on Tuesday instead!  Programs continue as usual at the 2:30pm Ajax Library Mclean Branch session or in the evening at the Whitby Library.
Sessions are open to all and free of charge.  Learn to meditate!

New DayTime Meditation February and March classes in Ajax

We are very happy to announce that Sahaja Yoga Meditation has been invited to the February and March sessions of the New Chapter Café put on by at the Ajax Library McLean Branch, 95 Magill Dr. Ajax, each Tuesday afternoon 2:30-3:30pm for the month of February and March with the exception of Tuesday, March 15th, due to March break activities.
Sessions are open to all and free of charge.  Learn to meditate!  
This is a simple method that anyone can do at home.  There will be an introduction and then all will be gently guided within their own being to discover the inner peace, joy and silence that all human beings were born with.  It’s all there inside.  Avail yourself of the valuable self knowledge provided through experienced Sahaja yoga meditators.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Wishing all a 2016 complete with inner peace and joy, and the good health that is accompanied by a real sense of well being.  
The 'Present' is here and now.  It is within each of us to 'be here'.  It is a matter of positioning ourselves just beyond our thoughts.  Seemingly impossible until you experience it.  Sahaja Yoga is the practice of being in the present.  'Yoga' means 'union'.  Find out how we connect within ourselves and experience this inner connection simply and naturally.
We are hoping to meet everyone who has been 'thinking' about practicing meditation as well as those who are already practicing meditation and have the desire to go deeper and become part and parcel in sahaja yoga collective meditation. 
All classes in the Durham area are back on schedule this week.

Oshawa and Pickering School Classes Cancelled during Christmas Hiatus

Please note that the 7:00pm Wednesday classes in Oshawa at the Queen Elizabeth School library at 1205 Simcoe Street North are now cancelled for the Christmas hiatus due to unavailability of the room at the school. There will be no classes on December 16th, 23rd nor 30th.  
We are missing you already and looking forward to seeing you again as class resumes on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016.  

The Monday evening class in the Pickering High School is cancelled on December 21st and December 28th for the same reason.  This class will resume January 4th, 2016.

In the meantime, there are ongoing and uninterrupted Sahaja Yoga collective meditation classes every Tuesday at 7:00pm at the Whitby Library 1205 Dundas St. W and we hope to see you there!

All Sahaja Yoga classes are free of charge.  Beginners are always welcome.  Join us and learn how to access our own inner peace and joy, at anytime, anywhere!
